ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

This is a nice, positive little saying for the new term. 'Onwards and upwards' means to continue with something and get better at it... That's what you'll be doing this year! So next time you see an old Englishman walking up a difficult mountain or hill shout "Onwards and Upwards Grandad!"

(He might hit you with his walking-stick though!)
